Almendres Cromlech, in Évora

It is the most important cromelech known in the Iberian Peninsula, both with regard to the dimensions, as the condition.

The monument is implanted in one of the highest points in the outskirts of Évora, exposed to the East, and seems to have played a pivotal role in the spatial distribution of the megalithic architecture no funeral Central Alentejo.
