The Centro Interpretativo do Tapete de Arraiolos – the Building Interpretive Center Arraiolos Carpet is one of the oldest and historic village of Arraiolos, having worked there the Holy Spirit Hospital since the late fifteenth century or early sixteenth century, the date is unknown needs of its construction. Situated in the city square, community center, political and economic of the town of Arraiolos since the sixteenth century, the Hospital of the Holy Spirit, founded in 1353, have worked elsewhere in the village, presumably closer to the castle walls, where even the century XVI were the most important institutions of the town of Arraiolos.
